Information on the assignment of tables

There is already a great demand for tables. In order to ensure that the assignment is fair and transparent and to enable the maximum number of participants to be able to reserve a table well in advance, the assignment of tables will be conducted in three phases. In order to have a table you must apply in advance and purchase a ticket. No advance booking and tickets are required if you only wish to stroll along the motorway and watch the programme of events on the one side of the motorway, or travel the route on wheels in the other direction.

1st booking phase: July to October 2009
The first phase starts on July 18th 2009 and runs until October 1st 2009.
Anyone interested should make a table reservation on www.ruhr2010.de/still-leben. The quickest and easiest way to make a reservation is online. If this is impossible please apply to the ticket hotline to get the necessary reservation documents.

The 2nd phase of table assignments: January to March 2010
According to the current state of planning, applications for the second phase will be accepted between the 18th of January and 18th of March 2010. All applicants who were unsuccessful in the first draw will automatically take part in the second phase draw. Successful applicants will be informed on the 31st of March and will then be able to make the final table booking within 25 days.

The 3rd phase of table assignments: From May 18th, 2010 on
The third phase has started on May 18th, 2010. All remaining tickets can now be booked without prior application.
